-  In certain cases, the 'Quick Meter Entry' window wasn't sorting by the sequence number correctly. This has been fixed. I also added an 'Options' button to this window so you can force the route and sequence number to be a certain length. This is important to set if these fields are of varying length. Otherwise they won't sort properly.

04/22/2009A new payment / credit transfer option was added. If an account has credit amount(s), the system will create a Credit Transfer history entry and then post the payment. This seperates the two entries (i.e. Credit Transfer and Payment Posted) so balancing cash out at the end of the day is easier. It also remedies some issues with the CR->UB interface. This option is enabled by default. You can disable it by going under 'Program Setup'->'Receipt Setup / Options'.

05/08/2008More 'billing item tasks' setup stuff.. I added the following options (which are used in the actual processes): 'Include inactive accounts', and 'Prompt for backup'. I also did some reworking of the Cycle Manager dialog and added filter options to it.
05/08/2008Added 'Export Bills to Printing Company' to billing item tasks setup. You can now create and run this process through the cycle manager. Note - you'll need to add this item yourself, or if you reconvert it will be added for you.

05/08/2008I added a linked label that allows you to edit the current meter during a meter change. Also, I'm setting the old meter status based on the user's selection - and I'm updating the new meter's status and service address information.
05/07/2008Fixed a handful of bill printing problems. The previous balance line was added to several bills, and a calculation flaw was fixed.
05/07/2008Dropped field 'status' from the service table. Each service will now use the status of it's parent account - this will help to aleviate confusion (with meter imports/exports, reports, and such). I also added the Account Status field to the following views: Bill Item, Deposit, Receipt, Service, and Work Order. The schema updater will make the above changes on startup - it might take a minute or so to complete.

05/02/2008I added quite a few changes. Most of them are performance enhancements (reporting, and bill processes). I also did quite a bit of work to the Cycle Manager - bug fixes and a few processes were added. You may now run reports from this window (pending you have a report associated with the cycle item).

04/16/2008Modified my rate prorating logic. It wasn't performing as advertised (based on the effective date). All is well now.
04/15/2008Added the posted/unposted journal status icon to the program status bar. It should toggle colors based on the posting status. I'm going to add a dialog in the near future to display the unposted entries and allow the user to post them when they click on this icon.

04/14/2008Fixed an annoying history problem. Namely, when adding a deposit -- the deposit # was not being stored in the history's additional information. That is no longer the case.
04/12/2008Added 'Receipt Journalization' process. Receipt journal entries are no longer created at the time of input, but rather when they're journalized.
